Il Nasdaq al 24,1% del London Stock Exchange
il Nasdaq (NDAQ) rende noto di aver aumentato al 24,1% la sua partecipazione nel London Stock Exchange, acquistando nuove azioni LSE ad un prezzo medio di 1248 pence.
Per la normativa inglese, il Nasdaq è libero di arrivare sino al 29,99%. Dal momento però che a marzo aveva lanciato una Opa a 950 pence, respinta e quindi ritirata, adesso dovrà attendere il mese di agosto prima di lanciarne una nuova.

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Nasdaq Stock Market Inc. took its stake in London Stock Exchange to 24.1% Wednesday via its second purchase of the exchange's stock in one day, thereby making it more difficult for potential rival bidders, including the New York Stock Exchange, to make a run at the U.K. bourse.
